COURSE DETAILS
It is a diploma course duration of 2 years that includes of academic performance and internship of 6 months. The different courses are-
- Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology [Pathology, Microbiology & Biochemistry] : DMLT [ Tech] : 2 years + 6 months (Six Months) compulsory post examination training.
- Diploma in Radiography [ Diagnostic ] : DRD [ Tech ] : 2 years + 6 months (Six Months) compulsory post examination training.
- Diploma in Physiotherapy : DPT : 2 years + 6 months (Six Months) compulsory post examination training.
- Diploma in Radiotherapeutic Technology : DRT [ Tech ] : 2 years + 6 months (Six Months) compulsory post examination training.
- Diploma in Optometry with Ophthalmic Technique : D.OPT : 2 years + 6 months (Six Months) compulsory post examination training.
- Diploma in Neuro Electro Physiology: DNEP: 2 years + 6 months (Six Months) compulsory post examination training.
- Diploma in Perfusion Technology: DPFT : 2 years + 6 months (Six Months) compulsory post examination training.

ADMISSION PROCESS FOR WEST BENGAL CIRCLE

- Download the information bullet and read carefully.
- Click the option for online form fill up.
- Fill all the mandatory fields with correct details (Name, Mob no, E mail id, Father’s name, Mother’s Name etc)
- Pay the fees (500/-) online through Net Banking /Credit card /Debit card or download the challan to pay the fee offline.
- Download the filled up application form.
- Add the necessary documents with the hard copy of application form and send it to Post Bag No 781, Circus Avenue Post Office , Kolkata- 700017, by 11rd June, 2018.
- Appear for MCQ based Common Entrance Test on 8th July, 2018. (Test contain questions of Biology, Physics and Chemistry from class XI and XII. No negative marking is there in the test.
- Merit list of this test will be released on 20th July, 2018 at The office of the State Medical Faculty of West Bengal is located at 14-C, Beliaghata Main Road, Kolkata – 700 085, or in Website.
- Online Counseling for admission in different Medical Colleges / Govt. Institutions / other Affiliated Institutions in respect of successful candidates from the Merit List in order of Merit and their choice subject to availability of seats.
- Priority will be given in the following manner: PH – ST – SC – OBC A – OBC B – GENERAL.
- A candidate allotted a seat after particular Online Counseling will have to deposit Rs.15000/- by ‘Net Banking’/ ‘Debit Card’/ ‘Credit Card’, plus applicable Bank service charges ONLY BY PAYMENT GATEWAY and the second installment of course fees, that is, Rs. 15,000/- within 30-06-2019. The mode of payment for 2nd installment of course fees shall be intimated through website of the Faculty. Further, the second installment of course fees be deposited upto 01-08-2019 along with late fees of Rs. 1000/- only .
- Then your seat is confirmed for the specified (You have to choose during counseling) course.

- Madhyamik admit for age proof.
- Community certificate (SC/ST/OBC-A/OBC-B) issued by a Gazetted government officer of the concerned district.
- PH certificate

- Admit Card ( Madhyamik / Higher Secondary or equivalent Examination ) for verification of the age.
- Rank Card of Entrance Examination
- Mark Sheet of the Higher Secondary or any other equivalent examination
