National Board for Higher Mathematics (NBHM) invites applicants for appearing in the Joint Screening Test for (i) the grant of NBHM PhD Scholarships to students for pursuing research for a PhD Degree in Mathematics or (ii) admissions to the PhD/Integrated PhD Programs of certain institutions in India.

| Eligibility: | Final year students or those who have completed Master’s degree in pure or applied Mathematics or statistics (M.A., M.Sc. or equivalent); holding four year B.S. or equivalent degree and have secured a seat in a recognized Ph.D. programme on or before 1 August 2019, are eligible to apply for this call. |
| Prizes & Rewards: | Selected candidates will be privileged with INR 25000 per month for first and second year and INR 28,000 for succeeding years. In addition to, an annual contingency grant of INR 32000 and house rent allowance. |
