Minority Scholarship 2018-19 by Ministry of Minority Affairs and West Bengal government

Students of West Bengal who comes from minority family (Muslims, Sikhs, Christians, Buddhists, Jains and Zoroastrians /Parsis) are eligible for this scholarship. A scholarship is nothing but a energetic subject (in terms of money) that energies a students for higher studies and encourage for a good result. This is basically a online process. This is a minority scholarship provided by Ministry of Minority Affairs of the students of class 1 to 10 and comes from backward families.It will cover both the tuition fee or college fees and the own maintenance allowances. But the only condition is that the students have to get 50% marks in his/her last final exam. Now Ministry have taken a decision that they will directly transfer the amount to their parents ” Jan Dhan Yojana” account, as the little students don’t have any bank account. MOMA Post Matric Scholarship scheme 

This is a minority scholarship provided by Ministry of Minority Affairs of the students of class 11 to PhD level and who comes from backward families.It will cover both the tuition fee or college fees and the own maintenance allowances. But the only condition is that the students have to get 50% marks in his/her last final exam. The full tuition fees directly transferred to the college or institution’s account. And the students don’t have to pay any fees.The maintenance allowance will be provided for 10 months in a academic year. MOMA Merit Cum Means Scholarship 

This is a minority scholarship provided by Ministry of Minority Affairs of the students who are studying under Graduate or Post-graduate courses like, Engineering/ Architecture/ MBBS/ Medical & Para Medical Courses/ Veterinary Sc. & Animal Husbandry/ CA/CS/ ICWA/ Fashion Technology/ Design/ Pharmacy/ Law/ Management/MCA, and who comes from backward families.It will cover both the tuition fee or college fees and the own maintenance allowances. West Bengal Talent Support Stipend Scholarship

This scheme is offered by “The West Bengal Minorities Development and Finance Corporation (WBMDFC)” for encouraging  to the Minority Students of West Bengal. This is a minority scholarship provided by the government of West Bengal to the students who are studying under Higher Secondary, Graduate or Post-graduate, M.Phil, PhD. and who comes from backward families.
