Aim of Yuvasree
The main aim of Yuvasree is to To provide a financial Assistance (Bekar Vata) to the unemployed persons of West Bengal for increasing employment ability and to improve skill of an unemployed person. You can read the Scheme of YUVASREE.

Eligibility Criteria for Yuvasree
- Candidate must be an Unemployed person.
- Must be a resident of West Bengal
- Minimum educational qualification is Class VIII pass.
- Age must be between 18-45 in respect of 1st April of Current year.
- He/She has not availed any type financial assistance/ loan under any State/ Central Government sponsored Self-Employment Scheme.
- Only one member from a family can apply for this scheme.
Financial Assistance and Total period of Assistance
Registration in West Bengal Government
Employment Exchange recently converted to this assistance. For that you have to apply online. This is not so tough to register yourself. But after seeing your name in the YUVASREE list, there is a long process you have to go.
(1) Application Process or Employment Bank Registration
- Visit the official website of Employment Bank, https://employmentbankwb.gov.in
- Click on the ‘New Enrolment Job Seeker‘ button.
- Tick on ‘Terms and Conditions‘ click on ‘Accept & Continue’ botton.
- Now you will get a form to fill up. Fill it correctly mentioning the details – Personal Information, Contact Information, Educational Qualifications, Language, Physical Measurements, Upload Photo/ CV, Experience Details, Additional Details (Proof of Resident, Aadhar Number, etc).
- Type the CAPTCHA correctly
- Tick on the required options.
- Check all before click on SUBMIT.
- Then you will receive a temporary EB Registration number.
(2) Validation of Temporary EB Registration ID
After successfulregistration in Employment Bank website you will receive a confirmation screen containing a temporary EB Registration ID/Username, then you have to take a printout of this page in a A4 page and visit nearest Employment Exchange with all the required documents in original and self-attested (mentioned below). After verifying your documents they will make the temporary EB-ID/Username permanent & will provide a password for your Employment Bank profile. Also you may receive a SMS containing the Username & Password. Then You can login your profile at Employment Bank’s website with this login credentials.
(3) Provisionally Identification for Yubasree/Inclusion of Name in Yubashree
Now Employment Bank Officially will identify some unemployed persons who are initially eligible for receiving that financial assistance as per Yubasree Scheme. If they select, an SMS containing this quoted text will be sent to their registered MOB No. “Enroll no EB20131513375791 provisionally identified for Yuasree-2013. Apply to SDO Office by 31.12.2013. Forms available in EmpBank website/SDO Office”. You can also check your name from the official website by putting your Employment Bank ID.
(4) Yuvasree Final submission
*What is the selection process?
Government decided previously that the first one Lakh candidates will be selected for this assistance. After that they will select the applicants depending on some variables like family income or registration basis.
* What to do after receive SMS
When you receive a SMS like that – “Enrol no EB20131513375791 provisionally identified for Yuasree-2013. Apply to SDO Office by 31.12.2013. Forms available in EmpBank website/SDO Office”, or you can see you name in the official website (https://employmentbankwb.gov.in/check_annx3.php), then it is sure that you are initially selected for YUVASREE . and then you have to submit the YUVASREE Application Form with Annexure I, Annexure II & Annexure III.
* What to do after see your name in the list published in official website
After seeing your name in the official website (https://employmentbankwb.gov.in/check_annx3.php), then it is sure that you are initially selected for YUVASREE . and then you have to submit the YUVASREE Application Form with Annexure I, Annexure II & Annexure III, same as previous.
* What is Annexure I, Annexure II & Annexure III?
Annexure I: Annexure I is the actual Application Form of Yubasree / Yuva Utsaha Prakalpa. In that form you need to fill up your Employment Registration no – [eg. EB20171234567890], some Personal Details – [Name, father’s Name, Address etc], Bank Details [Bank Branch Name (eg. State Bank of India – Balagarh Branch, Code – 2006) , Bank IFSC (eg. SBIN0002006), Bank MICR (eg. 700002506)], and at last Decleration [Decleration of statement].
Annexure II: Annexure II is the “Unemployment Certificate” of Yubasree. That means you are proving yourself as an unemployed person, and this Annexure-II is to be signed/certified by a Group A – gazetted Officer.
Annexure III: (Doesn’t Required for 1st Time Applicant)
Annexure III is actually a form of “Self Deceleration”- that mention about the utilization of Yubasree Assistance (money). That means how you utilize the money to get a job or how many training you have attained to gain your experience.
To continue the receipt of that financial assistance, the beneficiary need to submit Annexure III on an interval of six months to the Employment Bank. If anyone doesn’t submit Annexure III in employment bank his/her name will be strike off from the beneficiary list of Yubasree and will not receive any benefit. But it was an offline process before 2015. But, from July 2015, Employment Bank had decided to receipt the Annexure III will be done through Online Mode only.

You can check your name as you are selected for YUVASREE or not
- Visit the official website- https://employmentbankwb.gov.in/check_annx3.php
- Put Your Job Seeker ID (EB2015XXXXXXXXXX)
- Enter the security code correctly.
- Click Submit.

You have to submit the following documents self-attested copy
- Enrollment confirmation receipt of Employment Bank during registration
- Madhyamik Admit Card
- Madhyamik and Higher Secondary Marksheet or higher education details.
- Voter Card/EPIC Card
- Ration Card
- Pan Card
- Aadhaar Card
- Bank Account Detail (Passbook first page)
- Annexure I, Annexure II
* Where you submit the Yuvasree Application Form
After attaching all the required documents, you have to submit the credentials in the following offices-
- You can submit it to the concerned officer of your sub-divisional office.
- For the residence of Kolkata, you can submit it to the Purta Bhavan at Salt Lake, Kolkata.
Verification & Granting
After submitting all the documents, it will be checked. After verification or documentation you will be granted to get this monthly assistance if you are selected as per the conditions of YUVASREE scheme.

- Go the official website- https://employmentbankwb.gov.in/
- Click on – ‘VIEW NEW LIST OF YUVASREE’
- Download and open the pdf to check your name.

Annexure III Submission Process
- Go to the official website – https://employmentbankwb.gov.in/
- Click on “Submit Annexure-III“
- Enter your User ID/Enrolment Number starts with “EB”
- Enter your Password.
- Enter security code and Submit.
- Click a Tick Mark (✓)before that “A Recipient of Unemployment Assistance under Yuvasree is unemployed till date and i am utilizing the Unemployment Assistance to undertake training for increasing my employability.”
- Select the “Name/Nature of Training” from Dropdown list. [1) Accounting / Finance, 2) Agriculture and Allied, 3) Art / Culture / Entertainment, 4) Automobile, 5) Banking / Insurance, 6) Beauticare, 7) Call Centre / BPO, 8) Construction / Architecture, 9) Cookery / Catering, 10) Domestic Appliance Repair, 11) Dress Making and Fashion Designing, 12) Education / Training, 13) Healthcare / Medical, 14) Hospitality, 15) Interior Decoration, 16) IT, 17) Legal, 18) Logistics / Transport, 19) Management, 20) Skilled Labour / Artisan, 21)Others.]
- Write down your Institution/Training Center Name with full Address.
- Enter Start Date & End Date of Training or you can add a remark “Course Continuing”.
- In the ‘Write Remarks‘ field you should mention your Course Detail or Course Duration etc.
- Put a tick mark (✓) before : “I hereby declare that all the information furnished above is true to the best of my knowledge and belief”.
- Put a tick mark (✓) before : “I shall be liable for penal action as per law in case this declaration is proved to be false subsequently”.
- Check all the details and click on “Submit Annexure-III” button.
- After successful submission you will receive a Massage like that- “Your Annexure-III has already been submitted“.
- Click On “Print Acknowledgement“. Keep it to you. No need to send it anywhere.
