MODE OF EXAM
West Bengal Police exam will be a Written Exam.. Candidates have to give an offnline exam by Pen & Paper basis on Multiple-Choice questions.
SELECTION PROCESS
Selection will be based on some steps which are described below. At first you have to think abount the written exam. After that Interview as well as medical exam will be followed.

Question Pattern of West Bengal Police exam is Multiple Type Question type or simply MCQ type. There will be total 100 questions of 1 Mark/question, and the total time of exam duration is 60 minutes.
There will be negative marking for wrong answer. For each wrong answer, 0.25 Marks will deduct, means 1 mark will be deducted for 4 wrong answers.

Officially no cut off marks is published. It will vary depends on the marks of all candidates. But from last years experience the cut off marks are expecting like that –
Cut of marks for General – 70-75%, ST/ST/OBC – 55-65% of total marks.
4. FINAL WRITTEN EXAM QUESTION PATTERN & CUTOFF MARKS
Question Pattern of West Bengal Police exam is Multiple Type Question type or simply MCQ type. There will be total 85 questions of 1 Mark/question, and the total time of exam duration is 60 minutes.
There will be negative marking for wrong answer. For each wrong answer, 0.25 Marks will deduct, means 1 mark will be deducted for 4 wrong answers.

5. POLICE CONSTABLE INTERVIEW
The qualified candidates will be called for final interview. Where questions may ask from General awareness and whats happening around us related. Final Exam marks and Interview marks will be calculated for final merit list. The Interview marks will be 15.

7. WEST BENGAL POLICE MEDICAL EXAMINATION
- All provisionally selected candidates will be sent for Medical Examination at the State Government designated hospitals.
- The selected candidates should be in good mental and physical health. They should be free from any deformity likely to interfere with efficient performance of their work.
- The candidates will undergo all necessary medical tests as prescribed by the Department of Health and Family Welfare, Government of West Bengal from time to time.
- The certificate of medical fitness will be issued by an authorized medical officer.

- General Awareness on current affairs: – in Science & Technology, Sports, Culture, Personalities, Economics, Politics and any other subjects of importance.
ADMIT CARD OF WEST BENGAL POLICE CONSTABLE
