ANANT MERIT SCHOLARSHIP 2020 : Application Process, Eligibility, Fees, Selection & Final List

Anant Scholarship Or Anant Education Initiative Merit Scholarship Application Form 2020 has been released.
The concerned department is inviting for  Application Form fill up for those students who passed X or XII from Government aided schools. The eligible candidates have to apply online before its last date. Anant merit scholarship is for that aspiring meritorious students(both boys and girls) from the economically weaker of society – irrespective of caste, creed, faith or race. So that they can pursue their higher studies after successful completion of their Class X and Class XII Board Examination. Means there will be no priority for any caste category. But girls from any caste will get more priority.

 ANANT SCHOLARSHIP ELIGIBILITY

Applicant must meet all of the following criteria to be eligible for applying to this scholarship       
 Scholarship:
  • Students who score 70% or above in their class X or class XII exams. 
  • Family income doesn’t exceed Rs/5,000 per month. 
  • Minimum 50% of the total number of scholarship will be given to meritorious girl students. 
  • Scholarship will also be offered to deserving physically challenged students. 
  • The students schools should be located in West Bengal.

  • Finally click on the submit button. Then your form will be submitted successfully.
  • Take a print out in a A4 size page for future reference.

  • Click on ” DOWNLOAD FORM “.

  • Put the application form with all the supporting documents in a envelop.

DOCUMENTS REQUIRED

The following documents need to be attached to the Application form:

1) Attested copy of BPL card /Antyodaya card or Income certificate in original issued by Councillor /panchayat pradhan. 
2) Attested copy of Marksheet of X or XII. 
3)Attested copy of Ration card. 
4) Attested copy of X and XII admit. 
5) Original income certificate. 
6)Disability certificate (If any). 
7) Attested copy of Aadhar card. 
Other banking Documents are –

  1. Self attested photo copy (by a parent) and original of parent’s PAN card or voters ID card or Aadhar card.
  2. Self-attested photo copy (by a parent) and original of parent’s Voter’s ID card or electricity Bill as a proof of address
  3. Additional attested photo copy of proof of date of birth (copy of Class X and XII Admit Card/ Mark Sheet or Birth Certificate)

SCHOLARSHIP AMOUNT

ANANT Scholarship:

  • Scholarship amount is not mentioned properly in the official website. But from the previous year students, Anant scholarship amount will be in the range of 5000/- to 6000/- per month.
  • Study material will be povided.
  • Laptop may be provided to some students. (As per previous year students)

SELECTION PROCEDURE

Selection will be based on the following subjects –
  • Students apply for the scholarship. 
  • Anant Education Initiative selects deserving candidates from applicants. 
  • Anant call centre calls them for interviews. 
  • Interviews are conducted. 
  • Selected students Complete banking formalities, AEI opens an individual bank account for each student. 
  • Scholarship are disbursed to selected candidates. 

MERIT LIST OF ANANT SCHOLARSHIP

  • Merit list will be provided after reviewing all the application.
  • Then a interview will be conducted for all eligible candidates.
  • Then again a finally selected candidates list will be published.

IMPORTANT DATES
