Online Marriage Certificate Application Process in West Bengal

✍ Eligibility criteria in rural area

1. The bride and groom should not be less than 18 and 21 years of age respectively. 
2. The parties (Both husband & wife) should be already married and must be living together. 
3. At the time of marriage registration, there should not be more than one spouse of any of the parties. 
4. The bride and groom must have lived for at least one month in the district where marriage is to be registered.

• বিবাহ নিবন্ধীকরণ প্রক্রিয়াটি সম্পুর্ণ কম্পুটারাইযেসান হবার জন্য সমস্ত তথ্য বৈদ্যুতিন আকারে সংরক্ষিত হবে ফলে বিবাহ থেকে উদ্ভূত যেকোনো বিতর্ক থেকে একটি ন্যায্য বিচার পাওয়া যেতে পারে যেমন –
• বহুবিবাহ / বহুভর্তৃকত্ব (একই স্ত্রীলোক কর্তৃক একই কালে বহুপতি গ্রহণ)
• আইনী বিচ্ছেদ
• নাগরিকত্ব প্রদান
• অন্যান্য আইনগত ও সামাজিক দৃষ্টিকোণ

✍ The government charges that one have to pay is Rs. 200, if the application for the registration of a marriage is made within two months of the date of its solemnization. 2. Click on “Click Here to Apply Online“.
3. Fill all the details of Bride and Groom.
4. Fill details of social marriage.
5. Fill details of marriage registration and marriage officer.
6. Now finally click on APPLY button and upload the scanned documents.
7. Then it will be checked by the Marriage Registration Officer.
8. If everything is OK and follow the rule, then you can download the marriage registration certificate online.
9. If you can’t download the certificate then you have to contact with the marriage registration officer of your area.
