Online application for WBMDFC Aikyashree Scholarship (ঐক্যশ্রী প্রকল্প) 2019 is going on for minority students of West Bengal by West Bengal Minorities Development &Finance Corporation (WBMDFC ). This scheme will provide economical support to the meritorious students who are poor and belonging to minority communities.

TYPES OF AIKYASHREE SCHOLARSHIP
There are five types of Scholarships in this scheme. (ঐক্যশ্রী স্কলারশিপ ২০১৯). Read all the scholarships detail from here and apply for that which suits your profile, qualification or eligibility.

AIMS OF AIKYASHREE SCHOLARSHIP
Aims of this minority scholarship are different for different types of scholarships. Here is a brief description of the main aim of this 5 scholarship.
- Pre-Matric:– It will help to decrease the no of school drop out students.
- Post-Matric:–It will help the students to continue their higher studies.
- Merit Cum Means:– It will cover technical and professional courses at undergraduate and postgraduate level.
- Talent Support:– It will provide financial assistance to the poor and meritorious students who are belonging to minority communities.
- SVMCM:– It will encourage the students to continue their pursuits of higher education.
ELIGIBILITY OR QUALIFICATION AIKYASHREE SCHOLARSHIP
This Scholarship is especially for minority communities students. But any students who are pursuing their course in distance education, are not eligible for applying for these scholarships.
Pre-Matric Scholarship ( for I -X)
- Students from class I to X are eligible for this scholarship.
- Students should score at least 50% in the last exam.
- They must belong to minority communities.
- Students must have to be a resident of India as well as West Bengal.
- They should have an active bank account no.
- Aadhaar No has to be registered with a bank account. The Scholarship money will directly be transferred to this bank account.
- The full tuition fees will directly be transferred to the college or Institution’s account.
Post-Matric Scholarship (after X)
- Students after class X are eligible for this scholarship.
- Students should score 50% number in the last exam.
- They must belong to the minority communities (Muslims, Sikhs, Christians, Buddhists, Jains, and Zoroastrians )
- Family income should not exceed Rs. 200,000 annually.
- The students must have to be admitted to any institution in India to avail this scholarship
- Aadhaar No has to be registered with a bank account. The Scholarship money will directly be transferred to this bank account.
- Maximum 2 students from a family are eligible for this.
- They should have an active bank account no.
Merit Cum Means Scholarship
- Students should score 50% number in the last exam.
- Students must have to be a resident of India as well as West Bengal.
- They must admit in a technical or professional course.
- Family income should not exceed Rs. 250,000 annually.
- The students who are resident of West Bengal but continuing their study outside of West Bengal are also eligible for this scholarship.
Talent Support Scholarship
- Students should score 50% number in the last exam.
- Students must have to be a resident of India as well as West Bengal.
- They must belong to the minority communities (Muslims, Sikhs, Christians, Buddhists, Jains, and Zoroastrians )
- Family income should not exceed Rs. 200,000 annually.
- The students must have to be admitted to any institution in India to avail this scholarship

SVMCM Scholarship
- For HS or diploma students they should gain 75%Marks in secondary.
- For graduation, students should obtain 75% Marks in higher secondary education.
- For post-graduation, students should obtain 55% Marks in graduation.
- Medical (MBBS /BDS), Engineering (BE/B. TECH), Nursing, GNM &Paramedical students should have 75% Marks in higher secondary education.
- The student must have to be a resident of India as well as West Bengal.
- The family income should not exceed Rs. 250,000 annually.
- Should have an active account no.

HOW TO APPLY FOR AIKYASHREE SCHOLARSHIP
- কিভাবে ঐক্যশ্রী স্কলারশিপ এর জন্য আবেদন করবেন ?
This is a completely online process. Students can apply for this scholarship by a designed online portal. The applications will be verified by the Nodal Teacher of the respective schools.
The process of applying this scholarship is given below.
- Visit the official website http://www.wbmdfcscholarship.gov.in and click on New Registration.
- Or go directly to the registration page from here http://wbmdfcscholarshipgov.in/students/student_registration
- Fill all the required details of Student Information & SUBMIT AND PROCEED.
- Next, fill all details of Scheme Eligibility & SUBMIT AND PROCEED.
- Now check for which scholarship you are eligible. It will be shown on the screen.
- Also, you will get a temporary user id of your application.
- You will get your password in your registered mail id.
- Now login with the same user id & Password.
- Then change your password.
- Fill the details of Basic Information, Academic Information & Bank Account Information carefully.
- Before final submit, preview it and check all the submitted information. You can’t change anything after final submit of Aikyashree application form.
- Then click on Click here for verify and lock application button.
- Take a print out in an A4 size page from the Print Application Section.
- Submit the print out copy of Aikyashree Scholarship application form along with bank passbook photocopy containing Bank Account Number and IFSC code to the head of your institution for further verification.

IMPORTANT DOCUMENTS
- The applicant has to submit an income certificate.
- For renewal applicants, they should submit the previous year’s mark sheet copy with 50% Marks.
- A character certificate ( mentioning regular attendance and disciplined in school ) by the school authority.
SCHOLARSHIP AMOUNT
The scholarship amount of Aikyashree varies for different category and depending on Day Scholar and Hosteller. Take a look at the image for the scholarship amount for a different category.
IMPORTANT DATES
- Last date of application:– 15th September 2019
- Last date of institute verification:– 27th September 2019
- Last date of District verification:– 30th September 2019
- Disbursement of the scholarship:- 15th December 2019
SELECTION PROCESS
- The students belong to minority communities will be selected according to their Merit, family income and subject to the budgetary allocation provided by the State Government. They can check their application status with their application Id too.
- For renewal, the students should obtain at least 50% Marks in their last exam.
