West Bengal Board of Primary Education announced a job notification for 42949 Primary Teacher post. The total no of applicants were 20,01,301. And the no of qualified candidates were 1,23,000. They are called for documents verification and viva.
After that, they published 3 Panel/Merit list for the selected candidates in viva and as well as for the post of Assistant Teacher in Primary Schools. Official website of West Bengal School Education Department is www.wbsed.gov.in and official website for West Bengal Board of Primary Education is www.wbbpe.org.
- Is all the vacancy filled?
- No one fails to show all the Original documents?
- Doe’s no one’s candidature canceled for putting up wrong information during form fill-up?
Behind this question, one can easily say that all the vacancy are not filled probably. And there are some vacancy or post till now. After the publication of 3rd list, there was a chance for the 4th merit list or 4th panel. But, when the 4th list will be published? Has there any chance for publication of 4th merit list? What says The Board of Primary Education?

WBTET (WBBPE) 1st merit list
- The 1st panel was published on 31st January.
- No of selected candidates was 11700.
- Priority was given to the trained candidates.

- The 2nd panel was published on 4th February.
- No of selected candidates was 5500.
- Priority was given to the non-bengali medium non-trained candidates.

- The 3rd panel was published on 8th February.
- No of selected candidates was nearly about 10000-12000.
- Priority was given to the non-trained candidates.

WBTET (WBBPE) 4th merit list
Till now The board of Primary education don’t publish any notice regarding 4th panel. So, it is not clear that the 4th panel will publish or not. Also, we don’t get any media information relating this. So our polite request to you, not to believe in this type of rumor about 4th panel. Just keep your one eye on the official websites – www.wbbpe.org.
A new list has been published from WBBPE. But it is not mentioned that the new list is the 4th merit list or not. So we can’t say surely that the list is 4th merit list of WBBPE. But you can check your name in the list from the link below.
But we think, there are no chance of publication of any more panel. Because they have recently published a advertisement for recruiting Assistant Teacher in the primary schools.
