  • Honours Graduate (10+2+3) of any recognized University

Course Duration
 The duration of course for Post Graduate Courses (PG) –
  • Master of Library & Information Science and Bachelor of Library & Information Science – 1 Years from the date of registration. (The registration of that particular course will be valid for a maximum of 3 years)
  • All Other Post Graduate courses – 2 Years from the date of registration. (The registration of that particular course will be valid for a maximum of 5 years)

Application Process
To take admission in NSOU, you have to fill up the application form online. Follow the below-mentioned stepps to apply –
  • Visit the official website – http://bdp.wbnsouadmissions.com and fill up the form online. Upload Photo and Signature.
  • Take the Printout of the Application form on an A4 paper and the Bank Challan (For offline payment)
  • Visit your prefer study center for verification of your candidature. (Before leaving the Study Centre verify the official stamp and authorize signature of Study Centre on the top left corner of Application Form as proof of document verification.)
  • Pay the application fees in Online (Credit/Debit card/Net Banking) or Offline mode (Allahabad bank challan).
  • Then take print out of PAYMENT CONFIRMATION RECEIPT and RECEIPT of SLMs (After 2 Days from payment date)
  • Visit the Study Centre and Collect Prospectus Showing PAYMENT CONFIRMATION RECEIPT. On verification of PAYMENT CONFIRMATION RECEIPT and official stamp along with authorize signature of Study Centre on the top left corner of Application Form.
  • Submit Perforated APPLICATION FOR STUDENT ENROLLMENT Form (contains in the prospectus Annexure-I and Annexure-II) and ONLINE APPLICATION FORM Along with Necessary Documents (Original and Photocopy) at the Study Centre.

  • Filled in Online Application Form
  • PAYMENT CONFIRMATION RECEIPT
  • Self-attested Photocopy of Supporting Documents (Last passed examination details like Marksheet, Certificate, Character Certificate etc)
  • Filled in Perforated Enrollment Form (Available in the prospectus)
  • Annexure-I and Annexure-II (Available in the prospectus/Available in admission website)

Renewal of Registration
Renewal Process for Post Graduate Courses (PG) will be going on from 6th May, 2017. Pay the applicable fees within the mentioned date and visit study center with the receipt. The Important dates are –
Online Renewal system available for students: 6th May 2017 – 28th May 2017
Online  Fees Submission: 6th May 2017 – 30th May 2017
Fee Submission at Allahabad Bank Branch: 8th May 2017 – 30th May 2017
Submission of Payment Confirmation Receipt at Study Centre: 6th May 2017 – 4th June 2017

Renewal Process
For renewal of your current course, you have to fill-up a application form and have to pay the fees through online or offline. The application process is described below –
  • Visit the official website for renewal – http://renewal.wbnsouadmissions.com and fill up the form online.
  • Pay the fees online or take the Printout the Bank Challan (For offline payment)
  • After 2 days of payment visit the website and download the three part – Student Certificate/ Payment Confirmation Receipt/ Receipt of SLMs
  • Visit study center and submit the Payment Confirmation Receipt.
  • Keep the Student Certificate and Receipt of SLMs carefully.
  • After getting SMS, visit the study center with the Receipt of SLMs and Enrollment Certificate Cum Identity Card.
  • Receive all the SLMs by submitting the signed Receipt of SLMs.

  • One candidate is allowed only for one course in BDP/PG/BLIS
  • Course fees can be paid in Online (Credit/Debit card/Net Banking) or Offline mode (Allahabad bank challan).
  • Keep safely the Applicants copy of bank challan or payment receipt in case of online payment.
  • Be sure about your eligibility before taking admission. Because if there are found any discrepancy, admission will be canceled without refund any application fee.
  • Ensure that the BAR CODE printed on ONLINE APPLICATION FORM AND PAYMENT CONFIRMATION RECEIPT are in good condition.
