Girl students belonging to the minority can apply for Moulana Azad National Scholarship scheme for their higher studies. The Maulana Azad Education Foundation established on 6th July 1989. The foundation is a voluntary, non-political service organization. This foundation was funded by the ministry of minorities. A scholarship is nothing but an energetic subject (in terms of money) that energize students for higher studies and encourage for a good result. The girl Students of class 11th, 12th are eligible for this scholarship. This is basically an offline process. ELIGIBILITY
Educational Qualification:
- Only the girl students ate eligible for this scheme.
- They should belong to national minorities like Muslims, Christians, Buddhist, Jains, Sikhs.
- They should have 55% or greater than 55%marks in the Secondary school examination. The certificate must be registered from any recognized central or state board of Secondary education.
Others Qualification:
- The students will eligible for the scholarship when she does not get any other scholarship.
- The student can apply for two times during the higher secondary course.
- Family income must be less than 1 lakh in the previous financial year.
AMOUNTING SCHEME
- The total amount of this scheme is 12,000.
- 6000 would be given to a student for class XI and the 6000 for class XII.
- The first amount of 6000 the students will receive by showing the mark-sheet of secondary examination attested by the principal.
- The second amount of 6000 can be received by the same way by submitting the mark sheet of class XII attested by the principal.

Offline Application process:

- Download and print the application form,
- Fill the application form correctly.
- Take a print out of the filled up application form.
- All the fields are mandatory to fill up. Write ‘Not Applicable’ if necessary.
- Send the application with the required documents to the concerned department directly or by post.
- There is no application fee.

- Main Application form.
- Income certificate from any gazetted officer like BDO, SDO.
- In the case of agricultural family, the student should mention about the total land.
- If her family has a business background then the student should tell about the business.
- The students must mention if their family has other income sources.
- Photocopy of the certificate and mark-sheet of secondary examination.
- Mark sheet of last passed exam attested by the Head teacher of the institution.
- Religion Certificate attested by the Head teacher.

SELECTION PROCESS
The selection is purely based on merit or score obtained in the secondary exam. Also one has to score minimum 55% in the Secondary to claim the scholarship money.
