Tricks to get good mark
- The first thing you have to understand that the marks division of the question. There are different marking questions. So your answer will be appropriate with the mark. Extra writing won’t improve your mark, rather than waste more time and it effects a bad impression on the invigilator.
- Read the full question paper carefully at the first 15 minute that is given to read the questions. And choose the questions that you can answer correctly. (During choosing the questions to mark the question like this ‘✓’, which you can answer. And mark like this ☑, when you answered it in the question paper.)
- Mention the section no belongs to the question before answering and write down the question no on the left side out of margin.
- You can use pen and pencil both to sketch. But try to use pencil for drawing purpose because you can erase it if needed.
- Always it is better to write an answer with a diagram for that question, which mark is two or more than two. There may not mention sketching, but it is always good to sketch properly to make a good impression to the examiner either mentioned to draw or not.
- If you need any extra page then carefully check the sign of Invigilator and must put your name and roll no.
- Must mention the total no of the extra page you added on the upside of the answer sheet.
- Keep your one eye on the clock every time you are giving an answer so that you can answer all question within the maintained time.
- Try to finish your answer sheet 10 minutes before to complete exam, so that you can get extra 10 min to revise again the answers.
- To make your answer paper different from other, you have to be artistic in your answer sheet like this-
- Give necessary margin to your answer paper.
- Use multicolor ink depending on your necessity. (except green & red)
- Underline the important part of the answer.
- Try to use bullet for pointing and sub-pointing.
- Highlight the important word or sentence.
- Give extra & necessary margin to the sketches.
- Keep some gap between two answers.
Section wise tips
- In the first section, there are 1 mark questions. There is no extra question to answer. So you don’t get any chance to choose a question. Don’t need to answer in full sentence. Just write the answer in one or two words and underlined it.
- In the second section, there are the questions which will be answered by writing ‘True’ or ‘False’. Here at first write the full question and then write ‘True’ or ‘False’ beside the full sentence.
- Write the two mark questions in just two or three sentences. But you have to be careful about the mark division. Suppose, there is one 2 mark question, then write down the answer in a single para in 2-3 sentences. But if there are 2 question with the mark division 1+1, then write down the answer in two different paragraph with 2-4 sentences.
- For the long answer questions, don’t write all answer in a single paragraph whatever you read in the book. Rather than, try to give an introduction, then do some point by using a bullet (• or ■), at last, a summary. This also helps you to get a good mark.
- On a board question marking of 2+2+2, try to use a sign before writing your answer. Like you can use this sign (■) before every answer. Or use different sign before each paragraph, like ✔ for 1st para, ✔✔ for 2nd para, ✔✔✔ for 3rd para.
Subject wise tips
- In geography, there is a section belongs to marking in India map. You have to be so much sincere in this part.
- Use the specific sign to mention any specific subject.
- it is always desirable to use a pencil to mark on the map.
- you should be sincere that you are using two different sign for two different subjects in the map.
- Also, mention the subject name beside the sign so that the examiner doesn’t feel any difficulty during checking your paper.
- It will be better if you use an INDEX system. You can use INDEX in the blank place after the main map with a proper section or question number.
- In History, you have to be sincere in DATE & YEAR
- Write the accurate quotation of the accurate Historians.
- The wrong date makes a bad impression on the invigilator. Try to avoid this.
- Underline on a special date or place you have written.
- Divide into some points for long mark questions.
Do not in the exam
1) Don’t increase answer unnecessarily.
2) Don’t need to answer extra questions.
3) Do not waste so much time by talking with friends
4) Do not waste time for a single question which you cannot remember. Just skip it and mark it for review.
5) Answer any question only in one place. Don’t Split the answer in different place.
