Bikash Bhavan Scholarship or Swami Vivekananda Scholarship or Merit cum Means Scholarship or SVMCM is one of the best scholarships for students who are a week in the financial aspect. Higher Secondary (HS), General Degree Colleges or Universities, MBBS, B. Sc/GNM Nursing, Diploma or B.Tech are eligible to apply for this scholarship.
Like every year, in this year this scholarship amount will be provided to all the eligible candidates to grow their education.

SVMCM ELIGIBILITY
Educational Qualification:
HS Students
75% Marks in Secondary and now a student of class XI in Science/ Arts or Commerce.
75% নম্বরসহ মাধ্যমিক বা সমমান পরীক্ষায় পাস করতে হবে এবং বর্তমানে তাদেরকে একাদশ শ্রেণীতে পড়াশোনা করতে হবে।
Graduation Students
75% Marks (Best 5 aggregate) in Higher Secondary and now a 1st year student in Honours/ Engineering/ Medical (MBBS)/ GNM Nursing/ Para Medical Diploma Course.
For Engineering course, who have taken admission in 2nd year or lateral entry after passing 3 year diploma course, are also eligible for Swami Vivekananda Merit cum Means Scholarship.
উচ্চ মাধ্যমিক বা সমমান পরীক্ষায় উত্তীর্ণ হয়ে যারা স্নাতকোত্তর ডিগ্রি করছে আর্টস কমার্স সায়েন্স ইঞ্জিনিয়ারিং মেডিকেল ইউজিসি কর্তৃক কোন পেশাদারী কোর্স তারা এই স্কলারশিপ পাবেন। আবেদনকারীকে অবশ্যই প্রথম বর্ষে পাঠরত হতে হবে এবং উচ্চমাধ্যমিকে 75 শতাংশ নম্বর পেলে পাস করে থাকতে হবে।
Diploma or Polytechnic Students
1st year diploma or polytechnic students after passing HS with 75% marks or 2nd year students after passing VOCLET exam with 75% marks are eligible for Bikash Bhavan Scholarship.

Post Graduate Students
55% Marks in Graduation for Honours and 53% marks in Engineering is required for SVMCM Scholarship.
অনার্স বিষয় 53% এবং ইঞ্জিনিয়ারিং শাখার ক্ষেত্রে 55% নাম্বার পেয়ে উত্তীর্ণ হতে হবে এবং যারা আর্টস সাইন্স কমার্স বা ইঞ্জিনিয়ারিং এর কোন শাখা ইউজিসি শিক্ষিত কোন পেশাদারী কোর্সে স্নাতকোত্তর স্তরে প্রথম বর্ষে পড়ছেন তারা এই স্কলারশিপের জন্য আবেদন করতে পারবেন।)
Kanyashree K3 Scholarship Eligibility
Students who are getting scholarship from Kanyashree and have Kanyashree K2 Scholarship receipt or ID and now pursuing post graduation course from a regular university with 45% marks in graduation are eligible for Means Cum Merit Scholarship.
- Who is pursuing a course from distance education are not eligible for the Swami Vivekananda Merit cum Means Scholarship.
- who is getting the Kanyashree K3 Scholarship, they don’t need to submit any family income certificate.
Medical (MBBS/BDS), Nursing, GNM & Paramedical Students: 75% Marks in Higher Secondary.
- A dropout candidate is also eligible for applying for this scholarship. But they have to show a proper reason for applying this scholarship.
Others Qualification:
- Students must have to be resident of India as well as West Bengal.
- The family income should not exceed Rs. 250,000 annually.

MERIT CUM MEANS SCHOLARSHIPAMOUNTING SCHEME (স্বামী বিবেকানন্দ মেরিট কাম মিনস স্কলারশিপ)
- For HS Students: 1000 per month (স্কলারশিপে দেওয়া হবে প্রতি মাসে 1000 টাকা)
- For Graduation Students : 1000-5000 per month (Graduation আর্টস এবং কমার্স এর ক্ষেত্রে প্রতি মাসে 1000 টাকা বিজ্ঞান শাখা এবং ইউজিসি দ্বারা স্বীকৃত কোন পেশাদারী কোর্সের ক্ষেত্রে 1500 টাকা এবং এ আই সি টি ই বা অল ইন্ডিয়া কাউন্সিল অফ টেকনিক্যাল এডুকেশন ইঞ্জিনিয়ারিং কোর্স মেডিকেল এবং অন্যান্য পেশাদারী কোর্সের ক্ষেত্রে 5000 টাকা স্কলারশিপ দেয়া হবে)

BIKASH BHABAN SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION PROCEDURE
- Visit the site and register yourself as a fresher – www.svmcm.wbhed.gov.in.
- Now you will get an Application ID with a Password.
- Log in with that ID and Password.
- Then click on the Edit Profile or Edit Application option on the account.
- Fill all the details and upload scanned Photograph and Signature.
- Also, upload all the mentioned documents.
- After Final Submission, download the Head of Institute Verification Certificate and signed it by the Head Teacher of your School or College and attest it with school/College authority seal.
- Then upload it to the website.
- Now your application is complete and you are eligible to get a scholarship amount. No need to send it anywhere. Just take a print for future use.

- Self-declaration of Income Certificate by the student. (Mandatory).

Unlock from Head of Institute (HOI): After submission, applicants can’t edit the application further. If need any correction, then you have to contact your school authority for editing the application.
